Many patients are unhappy with their current dentures. They have become self-conscious because of poor appearance, fit, function or a combination of all 3. This can have a devastating effect of lifestyle choices and everyday living, with some individuals withdrawing considerably from social circles because of a lack of confidence as they feel compromised with their current teeth.

This should not be the case and using a combination of Clinical and Technical skills here at the Dental Studio we can provide you with a treatment plan that will overcome many if not all the negatives associated with wearing dentures. Patients can participate in designing their own new smile choosing from a wide range of natural looking teeth. Try ins of the teeth can be altered chair side with the patients input until a life like and natural appearance is achieved regardless of your age.

If you wear partial dentures (ie if you still have some of your own teeth) sometimes the palate or plate of an acrylic /plastic denture may feel cumbersome in your mouth. This can be replaced by a very thin lightweight chrome/cobalt denture which clips onto your existing teeth which holds them in place very securely allowing you to speak and eat again with confidence. If you already wear a palate free denture they can now be designed with tooth coloured clasps so no metal is visible.

Ultra Suction Dentures

Ultra Suction is a revolutionary new system for maintaining both upper and lower dentures in place. Some patients, due to excess bone loss or health issues are not candidates for implant treatment. At the Dental Studio we will evaluate the physiology of your mouth and current dentures and inform you if ultra suction is the right treatment plan for you.e

Flexi-Dentures (A Soft Material)

This is a revolutionary new concept to keep partial dentures in place. If you are missing some of your own teeth a flexi denture can be fitted. They are made of a highly aesthetic flexible nylon material which “flexes” over your natural teeth to retain it in position. There is no metal or clasps involved resulting in a very natural looking smile. They can be used for front or back teeth and in many cases there is no palate only a small side plate. Dentures on Mini Implants
Like the Click-Tite system, this means we can place your new dentures on your implants. This means a more secure fit.

Ooops!!! Broken your denture or need a tooth added?? We can do most repairs in the same day and you don’t need an appointment. Simply call first and explain what you need done and we will be as prompt as possible. Out of hours call will be monitored and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Relines and more complex repairs may take a bit longer with our Clinical Dental Technician.
